When it comes to post and railing design we've got two directions we can take, do we want our railing to be over the post, or post to post?

Over the Post System:

This is a type of handrailing that is all connected and running over the top of the posts. It gives you continuous railing that is nice and elegant. Typically this railing runs on top of turned posts or pin top newels that have decorative styles and profiles.

Post to Post System:

This is railing that spans the distance between the posts, tying into the face of the post. This is typically a square type of newel post and can include a post top like a hat or decorative edge.

You also want it to feel good, our railing being milled and produced from hardwood provides you with a pleasant sensation when gripping the handrail.
